Things to Consider When Creating Product Labels When you sell a physical product it is important that you are labeling those products correctly. There are many things to consider when you are deciding on how to label your products. Here are just a few things to keep in mind. - Check with your local government and the FDA because there are laws that you will need to abide by when creating your labels, especially if your product is food or bath and body related. - Quality of your printer if you are printing the labels yourself. You should have a printer with a minimum of 300 BPI. - Make sure the color on your monitor comes out the same in the finished product before you send the labels to print. - Fabric labels should be as simple as possible. Don’t let your colors touch on fabric labels, keep them separated to make it easier when actually printing. - Keep in mind the type of paper your labels are being printed on.
